Mabon Corn Husk Doll

Rooted in old harvest folklore, the Mabon Corn Doll is a symbol of the turning season, made from natural maize to honour the final harvest and the earth’s abundance.

She is adorned with a small autumnal floral bouquet, a mushroom charm, an apple slice and a red/green autumn leaf.

Across European harvest traditions, the last sheaf of grain was often treated with particular reverence. Collected during Lughnasadh and Mabon, It could be woven, plaited or shaped into a faceless figure and kept through the winter as a representation of the spirit of the grain — carrying the life of the fields safely through the dark months until the earth awakened again.
